Marine Mover: Mercury Racing names new custom propeller manager
FOND DU LAC, Wis. – Scott Reichow has accepted the position of custom propeller manager – sales, marketing & manufacturing for Mercury Racing, Mercury Marine reported in a statement Friday.
Reichow, a 15-year veteran of Mercury Marine, is assuming the responsibilities of Dennis Cavanaugh who passed away unexpectedly October 13, according to the company. He reports to Jeff Krueger, director, Sales & Marketing — Mercury Racing, Commercial and Government Products.
In his new role, Reichow is responsible for the production and sales of Mercury Racing propellers and lab finishing services.
Mercury Racing Propeller Sales Technician Brett Anderson, a nine-year veteran of Mercury with 5 1/2 years of service at Mercury Racing, will report to Reichow and continue his contribution to the racing propeller business. Anderson’s role has expanded to include propeller applications and performance evaluation testing.
Reichow comes to Mercury Racing with a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in Marketing and Finance. He is well equipped for the position, according to Mercury, having worked the past three years as Mercury Marine’s propeller product manager. Past positions with Mercury include freshwater public relations, exhibits manager, and warranty analyst. Reichow also has worked at Mercury Racing as a sales & service specialist and sales coordinator.
