Marine Mover: Mercury Marine adds to sales staff
FOND DU LAC, Wis. – Dave Becker has been named director of Dealer Sales – Southeast at Mercury Marine, and Joe Antonneau has been named director of Dealer Sales – Midwest, the company reported in recent statements.
Both directors will be based at Mercury’s world headquarters in Fond du Lac, Wis., and report to Jack Malone, the company’s vice president of Sales, Dealer and Retail Division.
Responsibilities of the position include managing sales in their respective regions for all Mercury Marine products, including Mercury Outboards, MerCruiser Sterndrives and Inboards, and all related parts and accessories.
Becker was most recently Saltwater Marketing Manager; previous to that he was Mercury’s District Manager for South Florida Sales.
Before joining Mercury Marine six years ago, Becker held various sales positions with Outboard Marine Corp.
Antonneau assumed the role in August after working for Yamaha Motor Corp.’s U.S.A. Marine Group for 17 years. His most recent position at Yamaha was that of Midwest and Northeast sales manager, based in Cudahy, Wis., according to Mercury.
A native of Wisconsin, Antonneau and his wife, Teri, have a 5-year-old son, Max, and a 3-year-old daughter, Mary. They live in Oshkosh, Wis.
