Marine Mover: Grady-White promotes Carraway to VP Human Resources

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Jill Carraway has been promoted to vice president of Human Resources at Grady-White Boats, the company reported in a recent statement.

Carraway joined Grady-White Boats in 1984 as an industrial engineer. She has led the Human Resources department since 1997 as manager and director, according to the company.

Her primary responsibility as vice president of Human Resources is to create strategies and systems that result in “an atmosphere where all associates enjoy coming to work on Mondays like they enjoy going home on Friday afternoons.”

Carraway earned her bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University. She and her husband, Danny, and their children, Christian and Adam, reside in Greenville, N.C. and are active members of Salem United Methodist Church in Simpson.

Grady-White Boats builds fiberglass offshore fishing boats from 18 to 33 feet in length at the production facility in Greenville, N.C.
