Marine Movers: BoatTEST Publishing names new sales managers

STAMFORD, Conn. – BoatTEST Publishing has appointed Robin Caruso, Dave Spencer and Robert Sullivan as new sales managers, the company announced in a statement Friday.

Robin Caruso has been named Northeast/West sales manager for the company. Caruso comes to the company from Boating magazine, where she was most recently display ad sales manager for the Mid-Atlantic region. Caruso will act as advertising coordinator for BoatTEST’s new print buyer’s guides debuting in April, as well as sales manager for her territories, according to the company.

Dave Spencer will join BoatTEST’s team as Midwest sales manager. Spencer has had a long career in the marine industry, both in the manufacturing and publishing fields. He worked at both Mercury’s MerCruiser division and Honda Marine. Most recently, Spencer was the midwest sales representative for Trailer Boats magazine, and worked in sales for Boating magazine as well. He will cover the midwest from Minnesota to Arkansas from his new office in Madison, Wis., the company reported.

Robert Sullivan has been hired as Southeast sales manager. Sullivan joins the company from Larry Smith Electronics in Riviera Beach, Fla., where he was a senior sales consultant for nearly 20 years. Sullivan is experienced in all manner of marine electronics, and has designed complete packages for small recreational boats up through megayachts, the company stated. He will be covering the territory from Florida to North Carolina from his office near West Palm Beach, Fla.
