Schmitt and Ongaro names CWR Distributor of the Year

Schmitt & Ongaro Marine Products, manufacturer of marine steering wheels, horns, wipers and other components for recreational and commercial vessels, has recognized CWR Wholesale Distribution as its Distributor of the Year.

“While all our sales and distribution channels continue to surpass expectations, CWR has gone above and beyond,” said president Tim Schmitt. “They’ve had a record 30% growth over the past five years. We truly value the trusted relationship we’ve built with them.”

Schmitt & Ongaro has realized growth every year over the previous five year-to-year periods. Schmitt said this is due in part to the company’s constant introduction of new products, broadening its European market share, and dedication of its distributors and manufacturer reps.

Founded in 1981 as CWR Electronics, CWR Wholesale Distribution markets a wide range of boat and outdoor products from over 280 manufacturers. It has facilities in Bayville, N.J. and Tampa, Fla.
