ABYC names new lead instructor

ABYC recently announced that Mike Bonicker has joined its team in the position of lead instructor.

Bonicker spent the last 20 plus years in the marine repair industry with Tidewater Yacht Service in Baltimore, Md. as an ABYC Certified Master Marine Repair Technician, the past 15 years of which he served as production manager. In that time, he has gained a wealth of experience being exposed to most every facet of boat repair and maintenance.

Mike’s primary role will be as instructor for ABYC certification courses held in the Annapolis headquarter’s new education space as well as locations around the country. He will also be organizing and evaluating ABYC’s adjunct instructors to ensure consistency and quality in the presentation of course materials as well as appearing in instructional videos as part of ABYC’s online education program.
