IMBC issues call for presenters
The International Marina and Boatyard Conference has posted a “Call for Presenters” on its website.
The conference, produced by the Association of Marina Industries (AMI), is scheduled for Jan. 14 – 16, 2020, at the Broward County Convention Center, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Presentations should be designed for beginner to advanced levels of experience without overt company or product promotions.
Submissions received will be evaluated by IMBC and if accepted, assigned to one of over 25 breakout sessions and seminars.
Sessions target all levels of expertise within the industry and are organized by operations, inland, coastal, boatyard, marina design & engineering and leadership sessions. Within those tracks, topics have included; marina operations, emergency response tactics, construction, boatyard operations, marketing, best practices, leadership, revenue generation, expense management, customer service, environmental issues, human resources and marina law. Plenary sessions will focus on business topics which appeal to the entire IMBC audience.
All submissions are due by May 31, 2019.
