SureShade celebrates 10 years, MIBS 2019 showcase
SureShade reached another new company milestone with over 150 boat models available with SureShade as a factory option or standard feature on display at the 2019 Miami International Boat Show and Miami Yacht Show events. The 2019 Miami Boat Show also marked the 10 year anniversary of SureShade’s initial commercial launch as a factory-option on the Boston Whaler 370 Outrage at Miami Boat Show in 2009.
Since initial commercial launch 10 years ago at Miami 2009, SureShade has experienced exponential growth in recent years – reaching 50 boats equipped with SureShade five years ago at Miami 2014, 100 boats two years ago at Miami 2017 and now over 150 boats at Miami 2019. Among the 150 boat models featured at Miami 2019, 16 new boat models debuted with SureShade as an option or standard feature, demonstrating that SureShade continues to dominate as the boat shade of choice with builders.
New SureShade-equipped models included: Chaparral 300 OSX, Chris-Craft Catalina 27 Pilothouse, Cigarette Racing 42 Huntress Elite, Cigarette Racing 42 GTO Reserve, Cigarette Racing 39 GTS, Cigarette Racing 59 Tirranna, Cobalt 30SC, Fountain 38 CC, Jeanneau NC 37, NauticStar 32XS, Nor-Tech 560 Sport, Ocean Alexander 45 Divergence, Pardo Yachts 50, Scout Boats 530 LXF, Scout Boats 235 Dorado and Sea Ray 350 SLX-R Limited Edition.

The Miami Boat Show event also included an aftermarket install of SureShade’s RTX pull-out boat shade on a Cobia 237, one of several boats provided by the new Freedom Boat Club Miami Beach location for BoatUS On-Water Powerboat Handling Courses held at the show.
