Mike Aiello named MarineMax national director of special projects

MarineMax recently named Mike Aiello as the company ’s national director of special projects.

Aiello started with Merit Marine in 1985, where he ran a very successful business ultimately leading to becoming one of the first acquisitions of MarineMax in 1999.

“I am excited about this new opportunity, and look forward to pulling from my past experience to help MarineMax reach its goals,” Aiello said.

Aiello was appointed a regional president and later vice president. During his tenure, in addition to his home state of N.J., Aiello has overseen Maryland, Ohio, Minnesota, and New York and assisted with 5 acquisitions.

He is married to Virginia (Cissy), and has three children and five grandchildren, including the newest addition three weeks ago.

“Mike’s accounting background and operations experience will be beneficial as we continue to grow. We are excited for his contributions throughout the company,” stated Kyle Langbehn, MarineMax vice president of operations.
