Regulator Marine promotes HR director to executive post

Regulator Marine has announced the promotion of Rex Anderson to the position of executive vice president of strategic planning and development.

Previously occupying the role of human resource director, Anderson has been a member of the Regulator team since 2006.

“I am grateful for the ways Rex has helped develop leaders and will continue to identify, train, and promote them within our team,” said Regulator Marine President and Co-founder Joan Maxwell. “We truly value his vast knowledge and wisdom.”

Having come out of retirement from the automotive industry to join the Regulator team, Anderson not only played an important role in navigating

Regulator through the recession, but also helped increase a staff of less than 150 people to one of over 220.

From factory floor employees to vice president of finance and director of engineering, Anderson has successfully identified and recruited members who contribute to building an even stronger team, Maxwell said.

“Regulator is a wonderful place to work,” Anderson said. “Our leaders do their work with integrity and always treat people the way they should be treated. It’s an honor to be part of this team.”
