FLIBS marine marketers will focus on customer experience

The Marine Marketers of America will host its biannual luncheon meeting and educational seminar focused on customer experience marketing at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Nov. 1.

The program – “Why CX Should Be Your Marketing RX” – will feature a panel of marine industry marketing experts, including Lee Sanderlin, National Marine Manufacturers Association director of digital marketing and web, Matt Gruhn, president of Marine Retailers Association of the Americas, Margriet Mitchel, director of marketing, Jeanneau America and Prestige Yachts, and Amanda Ward, campaign and web content manager, MarineMax.

“This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the single hottest trend in marketing from experts in our field,” said MMA president and marketing columnist Wanda Kenton Smith of Kenton Smith Marketing, who will serve as panel moderator.

Polls of marketing professionals throughout North America reveal that CX is their top priority in 2018, Smith said.

“You’ll come away from this panel session understanding what CX is about, armed with actionable strategies and best practices for implementing CX in your marketing mix,” Smith added.

Sponsored by the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, MarineMax and Sea Tow, the luncheon and presentation will take place at the Bahia Mar Yacht Center in Stateroom A/B, from 12:00 to 1:30 pm, Nov. 1.

Admission covers the cost of lunch; $35 for MMA members and $40 for non-members.

Advance registration and payment is required via PayPal at www.MarineMarketersofAmerica.org/fort-lauderdale-2018. For questions, email info@marinemarketersofamerica.org.

In addition to the panel discussion, the lunch meeting will include a brief MMA membership update and the popular meet-and-greet session with marketing professionals representing all segments of the industry.
