Pursuit Boats debuts S 288 luxury center console
Pursuit Boats debuted its all new S 288 to a group of owners at an annual rendezvous and customer appreciation event in Bimini, Bahamas The S 288 joins a family of boats that includes the S 408, S 368 and S 328 models introduced over the last two years.
“We are excited to debut our newest Sport series model with our owners in the Bahamas. We take pride in continuing to remain true to our history of innovative luxury fishing boats and to provide our customers with the state-of-the-art features combined with the quality and comfort that they have come to expect from Pursuit,” said Pursuit Boats President Bruce Thompson
The Sport series styling continues with the new S 288 – with an LOA of 30 feet – including the oversized fiberglass integrated hardtop and tempered safety glass windshield system, updated classic sheer line, through-stem anchor system and integrated transom extensions.
The console includes a fully enclosed head. On deck, seating with storage is available in the bow area and aft in the cockpit, providing room for family and friends.
Other features include a 24-gallon live well, large in-floor fishboxes and plenty of storage for rods, lures, and other gear. A standard hull side door makes it easy to slide a large fish on deck or enter the cockpit from the water after a dive.
Teak accents around the helm add a touch of warmth and style to the focal point of the Sport model. Fold-away transom and aft-facing seats may be deployed to entertain dockside.
The S 288 is rated at 30.8 miles per hour while turning 3,500 RPM rigged with standard power, twin Yamaha F300s.
