George’s Marine and Sports changes name to Pride Marine Group
Pride Marine Group Ltd. announced the acquisition of George’s Marine and Sports in Eastern Ontario on Nov. 6, 2017. Both organizations share a proud history of supporting the boating industry and lifestyle through integrity, leadership, excellent customer service and a strong crew.
As of today, George’s Marine and Sports locations will be known as the following:
- Pride Marine Group – Eganville
- Pride Marine Group – Kingston
- Pride Marine Group – Ottawa
“We are very proud to carry on the legacy and amazing customer service George’s Marine and Sports have become well known for, with the same familiar faces and familiarity our customers have come to know,” Pride Marine Group President and CEO Paul Nickel said in a news release.
George’s Marine has been involved in Eastern Ontario for over 40-years and brings many years of marine experience. The three new Pride Marine Group locations in Ottawa, Kingston, and Eganville, Ontario – will allow Pride Marine Group to expand into the Eastern Ontario market.
With the acquisition of the Eastern Ontario locations, Pride Marine Group now offers over 14 brands. These include wake/tow boats, fishing boats, pontoon boats, center console boats, jet boats, bow-riders, sport cruisers, yachts, PWC’s, and power sports.
Pride Marine Group offers exclusive brands across Ontario including: Chris Craft, Nautique, and Sea Ray.
In addition, Pride Marine Group services and sell Edgewater, Grady-White, Chaparral, Vortex, Robalo, Avalon and Tahoe Pontoons, Bayliner, Yamaha boats and PWC’s, Tracker and Nitro fishing boats, and Yamaha Power Sports.
