Groupe Beneteau, SkipperBud’s celebrate Michigan groundbreaking

Groupe Beneteau and Skipper Bud’s recently broke ground for a new 46,000 square-foot facility on Cass Lake in Waterford Township, Mich.

The new facility is located in Oakland County, which typically has the highest registrations for boats in the state of Michigan.

Onsite marine services will include dry stacks, a gas dock, service, and sales. Mike Pretasky Jr. is the principal contact for the SkipperBud’s, Waterford location.

“It has been a pleasure working with SkipperBud’s, and we are very proud to have them as a part of our team,” said Andy Lindsay, Groupe Beneteau vice president sales, Americas.

SkipperBud’s keeps the boater’s desires in mind, and Groupe Beneteau expects to continue this longstanding relationship well into the future, Lindsay added.

“SkipperBud’s remains a key player for our Cadillac brands, and their new facility will add to our already dynamic network in Michigan,” Lindsay said.

SkipperBud’s has been in business since 1959, and currently operates multiple facilities located throughout Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
