Nautique Boat Company honored by United Safety Council

Nautique Boat Company was honored by the United Safety Council with two awards during their annual awards ceremony.

The Nautique team was a recipient of the silver medal for the Corporate Safety Award, an achievement given to companies based on their overall level of safety accomplished in the past year. Along with that achievement, Nautique’s Environmental Health, Safety and Security Manager, Bart Drummond, received a silver medal for the Safety Leadership Award. This is given to an individual who is dedicated to safety, and “Drummond has been instrumental in establishing the culture of safety at Nautique,” a realease from Nautique said.

Establishing safety standards throughout the factory and educating the employees about them is at the core of Nautique’s culture. The passion for safety at Nautique starts with the well-being of its employees and their families, and the team has been fully committed to integrating these strategies into the manufacturing process.

“The entire Nautique Team is extremely focused on the priority of safety in our operations,” said Nautique president Greg Meloon. “Being recognized by the United Safety Council is an incredible honor and highlights the continuous efforts to developing a Safety Culture that is industry leading.”
