California Air Resources Board certifies Attwood relief valves

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has granted Attwood Corporation a component executive order (#RM-18-001) for its Pressure Relief Valve used in its Integrated Pressure Relief Fuel Systems.

The executive order indicates that boats equipped with Attwood’s Pressure Relief Valve Deck Fills and Direct Fills are approved and CARB compliant for the 2019 model year.

These valves also meet the requirements of and are certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Attwood’s Pressure Relief Valve is a component of the 99DFPV Series Pressure Relief Deck Fills and 99TDFPV100 Pressure Relief Direct Fills.

The valve is integrated into the cap of the deck fill to provide diurnal emission control and optimal overpressure relief and safety. The valve’s design features the same construction since its first release in the summer of 2011.

Attwood currently has more than 230,000 Attwood Pressure Relief Systems on the water.
