Miami Yacht Show announces joint Miami International Boat Show ticket

The annual Miami Yacht Show, known by yachting enthusiasts worldwide as the luxury in-water exhibition during Miami’s annual boat show weekend each February, has announced a new joint ticket in partnership with the Miami International Boat Show, which also takes place during Presidents’ Day weekend. For $50 a day, boating enthusiasts can conveniently attend both boat shows.

Celebrating its 30th year and set to take place Thursday, Feb. 15 through Monday, Feb. 19, along Collins Avenue across from the Fontainebleau and Eden Roc hotels in Miami Beach, the Miami Yacht Show attracts a global audience to a spectacular display of yachts and marine products, including more than 500 new and brokerage yachts and a wide array of the latest marine technology and accessories.

During the same weekend, the Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show takes place at Miami Marine Stadium Park and Basin on Virginia Key. Bus transportation from the Miami Yacht Show on Collins Avenue to and from the Miami International Boat Show on Virginia Key runs daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“This is one of the most well-known boat show weekends in the world, with many things to see and do for yachting and boating enthusiasts,” said Mary Bender, vice president of marketing for Informa, the Miami Yacht Show’s producer and co-owner. “The joint ticket is one of this year’s many enhancements designed to deliver the ultimate in enjoyment and convenience for our guests.”

Spanning more than a mile along the Indian Creek Waterway from 41st Street to 54th Street, the Miami Yacht Show covers more than 1.2 million square feet of space, featuring an amazing display of yachts and accessories, floating cocktail lounges, food and live musical entertainment. A new VIP Experience offers amenities designed to make the show even more extraordinary for its discerning attendees and exhibitors.

In addition to its Collins Avenue location, the Miami Yacht Show includes a display of superyachts on Watson Island at the Island Gardens Deep Harbour marina, known as Superyacht Miami. Yacht brokers can arrange transportation for clients between the two show locations or guests may visit the yacht show’s website to register for access.
