New powerboat registrations up 4.7 percent in November

NMMA’s New Powerboat Registrations Report has been updated through November 2017, and advance data show new powerboat registrations were up 4.7 percent year-over-year (YOY) for the rolling 12-month period through November.

Nearly all segments were up through November for the rolling 12-month period.

Growth in registrations was led by the following segments: Cruisers (up 9.6 percent), pontoons (up 7.3 percent), tow boats (up 6.9 percent) and personal watercraft (up 5.5 percent).Outboard boats were up 5 percent in registrations. Larger boats, 27 feet and greater, were up 8.8 percent through November (R12M YOY).
