Bayliner announces new VR Series offering

Bayliner has announced the addition of the new VR4 to its series of bowriders.

“Day boaters shouldn’t have to sacrifice quality, comfort or value. Our VR Series is designed to deliver all three,” said Bayliner President Keith Yunger. “Adding the VR4 to the lineup gives our customers another great option to meet their boating and budget needs.”

Like the VR5 and VR6, the newest addition to the series takes advantage of Bayliner’s BeamForward design, which carries the full 7.5-foot beam further forward to create a considerably roomier bowrider area compared to more traditional pointed bow designs.

The boat also positions the rear seating area at the aft-most point of the running surface, extending the swim platform.

A new folding ski-tow tower option with integrated sunshade is offered, along with a full sun pad with optional inserts, molded seat backs for comfortable platform lounging, multiple removable backrests, ski locker, and optional bow filler cushion and bow wind block that, when used together, create an additional seat.

The VR4 is available in both outboard and sterndrive propulsion. Standard power on the VR4 is a Mercury Marine 200 horsepower 4.5L Sterndrive or 115 horsepower, four-stroke outboard.
