Alumacraft 2017 dealer meeting draws 400 attendees
Alumacraft’s 2017 dealer meeting included dealers, vendors and industry leaders from as far away as Sweden, Russia and the Netherlands.
“It’s great to bring so many members of the Alumacraft family together in one place to celebrate, share ideas, and forward our vision for 2018 and beyond,” said Alumacraft President James Irwin.
The 2017 Alumacraft Dealer Meeting was held Aug. 6 to Aug. 8 at Treasure Island Resort and Casino in Welch, Minn.
More than 105 dealerships were represented with a total of 400 attendees.
“The whole thing was fantastic,” says Denise Tetrault with Hallberg Marine in Wyoming, Minn. “I liked the organization, and the theme about communication was just perfect.”
“It was well thought out, and it kept moving,” says Jeff Miller with Miller Boating Center in Ocala, Fla. I’ve been to hundreds of dealer meetings and this went as well or better than any I’ve ever been to.”
The event included 40 boats in the showroom, 12 boats in the water for demo rides, a live charity auction benefitting Trolling for Troops, and a presentation introducing a new series, the all-back Shadow.
“We measure the success of a dealer meeting not only by the number of orders written, but by relationships that were strengthened,” Irwin said.
