SG Marina rebranded F|3 Marina under parent company merger
SG Marina, a division of Siegel-Gallagher Management Company, said it is strengthening its position as a provider of marina management services through a merger involving its parent company with two other commercial real estate firms.
While it will remain its own separate division, SG Marina’s parent company Siegel-Gallagher Management Company is merging with Commercial Property Associates, Inc. and RFP Commercial, Inc. to form Founders 3, an independently owned full-service commercial real estate brokerage and management firm. The marina division is now branded F|3 Marina.
“We’re very excited to be joining with two other outstanding firms that have tremendous knowledge and experience in the commercial real estate industry,” said John Matheson, principal, Founders|3, and leader of the F|3 Marina division. “We believe this will strengthen the resources available to F|3 Marina, which will continue to operate as its own division, providing an exceptional level of marina management expertise.”
“Most facilities run by local governments are not built to meet the high expectations of today’s boaters,” he added. “The marina management business has grown in sophistication, especially in the last 10 years, and you must be an expert in the industry to succeed.”
In addition to the merger, F|3 Marina has added Alain Giudice as vice president marina operations. Giudice has over 25 years of experience in design, development and operation of marinas. He has overseen operations of some of marinas in Bahamas, Turkey, Granada, China, United Arab Emirates and Florida.
“Alain brings a new level of experience to F|3 Marina allowing us to work with a client from concept through construction and management of a marina,” Matheson said. “His hospitality focus and global experience meeting the needs of boaters, from local fishermen to the largest megayachts in the world, solidify our position at the forefront of the industry.”
F|3 Marina also services private marina owners using many of the same strategies that have made them successful in commercial property management.
“We are selective of the assignments we take on, ensuring that we can provide value for our clients and meet their expectations. Even so, we have many opportunities in the immediate future across the U.S. and abroad,” Matheson said.
F|3 Marina will be expanding to the West Coast later this year and expects to win assignments in Canada and at least one in South America.
“Our business is growing and we’re committed to building on our past success in the marketplace,” Matheson said.
