Industry mourns Mike Beachy Head
John Caudwell, co‐shareholder of Caudwell Marine and Thunder City, announced the passing of Mike Beachy Head, founder, co‐shareholder and CEO of Caudwell Marine and Thunder City.
“A loving father, husband and determined leader, Mike was an extremely dear and loyal friend as well as being a totally trusted business partner,” Caydwell said in a statement. “Words cannot express our sadness for the loss that we all feel as an organization and we extend our deepest sympathy to Mike’s family at this profoundly difficult time for them all.
“Mike was a genius innovator and a brilliant engineer, despite his lack of formal training, and spent the last 10 years of his life utterly dedicated to the success of Caudwell Marine,” he added. “Mike is absolutely irreplaceable as a friend and although irreplaceable in the business, I personally and the company as a whole, remain totally committed to ensuring the success of Caudwell Marine; to succeed for our employees and, of course, for Mike’s family and friends, but even more, for his legacy, for the loss of a great man.
“We have a very dedicated workforce, excellent suppliers and prestigious potential customers, and in tribute to Mike’s brilliance, we will drive the future together,” Caudwell concluded.
