West Marine celebrates multiple grand openings with ‘Day of Fun’

West Marine will celebrate the grand openings of its newer, larger stores in Woodbridge, N.J. and Apollo Beach and Spring Hill, Fla., with a “Day of Fun” at select West Marine locations throughout the East Coast on Saturday, Mar. 18.

The East Coast event stores will host an array of attractions between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., including complimentary food and refreshments, on-site vendors, product demos, prizes and giveaways from brands like ROXY and Starbrite, and more.

West Marine Store Specialists also will be available to answer customers’ questions about specific products, including marine electronics; SUPs and kayaks; fishing gear; apparel, footwear and accessories; and all core boating items.

The East Coast event store locations are:

The first 100 customers who attend each “Day of Fun” event at the participating West Marine stores will receive a free West Marine-branded bucket with a West Marine mystery gift card inside, good for between $5 to $100.

In addition, customers that come into the stores and spend $100 or more will get a free, one-year magazine subscription to one of the following boating magazine titles: Boating, Cruising World, Sailing World, Salt Water sportsman; or Sport Fishing.

The Mar. 18 festivities at select West Marine stores up and down the East Coast are taking place in conjunction with the kickoff of West Marine’s Spring Super Sale, which runs from Mar. 16-26 in all West Marine stores across the country and online a westmarine.com. The first four days of the sale, Mar. 16-19, feature the company’s four-day Super Buys, which include dozens of deals on new products, all of which are available for purchase in these event locations.
