Smoker Craft mourns regional sales director Dan Robinson

Smoker Craft has shared the news of the passing of regional sales director Dan Robinson last weekend after a battle with cancer. The company provided the following obituary for Robinson:

Dan was a valuable member of the Smoker Craft team. He will be remembered for his contagious energy, enthusiasm for boating and many product design ideas.  He was a friend to all.

Dan began working with us as a Starcraft dealer, representing Duchow’s Marine.  Having attended many Dealer Council meetings, his retail expertise helped direct our product development, marketing and sales strategies. In 2011, he joined the Smoker Craft, Inc. sales team as a Sales Representative and was quickly promoted to Regional Director.

Dan loved to travel and had a very adventurous spirit. He particularly enjoyed wake boarding, surfing and snowboarding. He was an excellent teacher and coach, taking great delight in instructing friends and family in any type of water sport.

First and foremost, he was a family man. Dan was a very loving husband, father, and son. His daughters were his greatest pride and joy and he so enjoyed attending their school and sporting events. He never missed an opportunity to share his girl’s successes with the greatest of pride in all of their accomplishments to anyone.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer of 22 years; two daughters, Shealyn and Brin Robinson; his father Hugh (Arlene) Robinson; brother, Richard (Laura) Robinson; sisters, Tammy Kolodziejczak, Kelly (Jeff) Vorisek; sisters-in-law, Amanda (Darren) Henley, Kelly (Steve) Siegel; parents-in-law, Robert (Donna) McNally; and many nieces and nephews.
