EdgeWater Boats names new president, CEO

EdgeWater Power Boats has named Jennifer Butera president and CEO.

Butera comes to EdgeWater Power Boats after serving as general manager of Brunswick Commercial and Government Products Inc., which is based in EdgeWater, Fla. Prior to that role, Jennifer held a position with Walt Disney Corporation.

“We are very excited to have Jennifer join the team,” said Bryan Powderly, EdgeWater vice president and chief financial officer. “She has taken BCGP forward significantly during her stewardship, growing sales locally and internationally, and developing the operation and commercial team, as well as implementing LEAN processes. Jennifer has a track record of strategic vision and excellence in execution.  We are excited that she will bring this experience to bear on our business as well. I know she has strong intentions to involve our dealers even more in the future to help EdgeWater develop even more exciting products.”

About her new company, Butera commented: “We have a great team of employees, an exceptional dealer network, and an exciting future.  It will be fun. I am truly excited about joining EdgeWater.”

  1. Good luck to Jennifer Butera in rescuing Edgewater. I bought a new $100K Edgewater boat in 2013 and have found their customer service performance to be pathetic in getting warranty related issues resolved. I plan to go back to Boston Whaler (where I bought my previous boats) in the future.
