Boatyard launches Boatyard for Business
Boatyard recently announced the launch of Boatyard for Business, a SaaS platform that aims to provide marine professionals with user-friendly software to help them manage their businesses and deliver remarkable customer service experiences to their boat owners.
Boatyard for Business allows marine professionals to manage requests, send digital quotes and invoices, communicate with customers and process payments. All of this is done from a dashboard available from their computer, tablet or mobile device. Boatyard is also working with its marine businesses to help them create their own custom menus within the Boatyard app, generating new leads and giving their customers the ability to order their services 24/7.
“We’ve been working with Boatyard for a couple of years and have seen over six figures of new business in the last year alone,” said Richard Costa, whose family owns Fine Oil, a fuel delivery company based in Miami. “Our customers love that they can order from us anytime with a couple of clicks on their smartphones.”
Bob Hartman, of Hartman Yacht Maintenance, says he invested in Boatyard after seeing the difference in usability between his existing software and Boatyard for Business.
“Our current system is not very user-friendly and requires too much training to get new employees up to speed. When Nathan showed us what he was building with his team, we knew that they were going to solve a problem that has existed for us for a decade,” said Hartman. “I was so impressed that I not only signed up to be a customer, but became a partner, too.”
“We built the app we wanted as boaters. Now we’re launching the software we need as marine pros,” said Nathan Heber, CEO of Boatyard. “We’re excited for this next phase on our mission to deliver boater happiness on demand.”
Boatyard was launched in January 2015 in partnership with Rokk3r Labs, located in Miami. Boatyard was named “Top Product of the Year” in 2015 by Boating Industry magazine, it was recognized as one of the “Top Ten Emerging On-Demand Startups” in Jason Calacanis’ Launch Festival and more recently made the list of the “Eight Coolest Startups in Broward County.”
