Dockwa announced the acquisition of Marinas.com in a blog post on the company website. The company intends to evolve its Dockwa Connect product and ultimately merge the two product offerings of the companies.

Since its founding in 1995, Marinas.com has created listings for more than 15,000 marine locations around the world.
“The Marinas.com brand and accompanying website has long been a valuable resource for any marina looking to broaden its online presence or increase marketing efforts,” said Melillo.
The company plans to leverage is engineering and design teams to enhance the Marinas.com user experience for marinas a boaters, working to improve the platform and product offerings to bring added value to marinas using the site today. Dockwa also hopes to leverage Marinas.com’s existing online presence to increase traffic for Dockwa’s partner marinas and and heighten Marinas.com’s focus on online marketing and customer service.
