MarineMax Naples hosts Toys for Tots drive

MarineMax Naples Yacht Center teamed up with Collier County Salvation Army in support of its annual food and toy drive benefiting Toys for Tots.

Throughout the months of November and December, MarineMax Naples was able to “Fill the Boat” and “Overflow the Outrage” by collecting 179 toys, 39 books, 27 small items, and two bikes thanks to the generous support of its customers.

“The holiday season is a great time to show kids and families that you care. We’d also like to thank the Collier County Salvation Army for all that they do for those in need this time of year. They are the real heroes,” said Jim Connor, MarineMax Naples general manager.

Toys for Tots Foundation is the fundraising and support organization for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The foundation was created at the behest of the U.S. Marine Corps and has supported Toys for Tots since 1947. The mission of the program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community.
