The American Boat Builders & Repairers Association has announced the schedule and details for its 2017 annual meeting and symposium, which will run January 24-25, 2017, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
The event will start with a Cocktail Reception and Annual Meeting on Tuesday January 24, 2017 from 6 – 9 pm, during which ABBRA will present its annual awards and marine service manager’s certification credential.
On Wednesday January 25, 2017, ABBRA will present brainstorming and informational sessions on Leading a Multi-Generational Workforce, Finding and Building your Future Workforce, On-the-Job Earn & Learn Training Models, and How to Build a Sector Partnership to obtain Funding Assistance for Skills Training. During the business section, speakers will present information on Financial Management for the Non-Financial Manager, which includes cost controls and other financial management tools, as well as a presentation on the State of the Economy.
