NMMA rebrands All Industry Breakfast to Innovation Breakfast at MIBS

The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) announced Monday that it has rebranded its All-Industry Breakfast held during the Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show, to the Innovation Breakfast. The rebranding honors and celebrates the thousands of innovative products, ideas and services showcased during the Miami Boat Show each year. As part of the rebranding, the annual breakfast, traditionally held on opening day of the Miami Show, will move to the second day of the show, Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, and will relocate to the show’s expansive new Center Courtyard area at Miami Marine Stadium.

“The Miami International Boat Show is known for being the event that brings out the best boats and engines, the best marine accessories and the best of boating from around the globe. The Innovation Breakfast gives us an opportunity to celebrate and honor the countless new and innovative marine products, services, and ideas introduced at the show each year,” said Ben Wold, executive vice president of NMMA and show manager for the Miami International Boat Show. “With the show’s home at Miami Marine Stadium, we’re elevating the breakfast and putting it center stage so to speak, by relocating it to the expanded Center Courtyard area of the show, enhancing the experience with new breakfast foods, and creating a can’t miss agenda focusing on the best innovations and ideas happening in our industry.”

The new Innovation Breakfast will feature the announcement of the 2017 Miami International Boat Show Innovation Award winners, the announcement of the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Award recipients and Freedman Award recipient, and special presentations from industry leaders including remarks from NMMA President Thom Dammrich. The breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, 2017.

Tickets to the breakfast will be available for purchase soon and are expected to sell out quickly. To learn about purchasing tickets contact NMMA’s Venus Berryman at vberryman@nmma.org.

Given the 8 a.m. pre-show start time, exhibitors planning to attend the breakfast must park in Lot A, take a taxi/Uber to Lot C, or valet park, as all other parking lots and transportation will not be running until 9 a.m.
