Carver Yachts plans to introduce its new C52 Coupe at the 2016 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. With its full beam master stateroom with private head and separate shower, spacious forward guest stateroom and head plus large third stateroom, the company says the C52 Coupe is raising the bar for luxury and cruising comfort.
The C52 Coupe is designed to offer more interior space than other yachts in its class. Its hull, deck and superstructure combine vacuum-infused and hand-laid structural and non-structural, fiberglass and core laminates with infused vinylester resin for improved strength, tied together with a fiberglass stringer system that's engineered to shrug off harsh offshore seas.
The C52 Coupe’s walk-around side decks are accessible from the cockpit, swim platform or the foredeck seating area. The cockpit area has wraparound seating and an optional wet bar with grill and refrigerator/ice maker.
The flush-threshold, center-opening, glass, cockpit doors open to turn the salon and cockpit into a free-flowing entertainment space. Overhead are full-length glass ceiling panels that dim with the flip of a switch and eliminate the need for sunshades. A large sunroof adds to the glass roof.
To port is a fully appointed galley for hors d'oeuvre or meal preparation. The galley features stainless-steel sink and appliances, solid-surface counter tops and a large stand-up refrigerator to starboard next to the entertainment center. Forward of the galley and entertainment center is the Skylounge seating and dining area that affords 360-degree views and are built with luxurious fabrics, high-gloss cherry wood and warm accent lighting.
The lower helm, with its two-person, bench seat with flip-up bolsters, provides ample space for electronics, including up to two 17" navigation displays. The location of the helm offers views forward and aft for ease of operation and docking.
A staircase to starboard from the salon provides private access to the mid-ships master suite. This full beam layout offers a queen-size island berth, separate lounge area and storage spaces. The master head features a separate stall shower with teak seating.
A few steps down and forward from the salon is a guest stateroom with queen-size island berth and its own access to the port-side head. The guest head is equivalent to the size of most master heads on boats this size and features a separate shower with teak seating surfaces. The C52 Coupe also features a third stateroom with full, stand-up dressing area and twin berths.
Optional crew quarters located aft of the engine room with head, shower and storage are available along with other entertainment and convenience options to meet the owner's personal preferences.
