Suntex Marina Investors acquires Wolf Creek Marina
Suntex Marina Investors LLC (Suntex), an owner and operator of marina properties, announced Tuesday the acquisition of Wolf Creek Marina on Lake Cumberland, Kentucky. The purchase comes on the heels of the recent addition of State Dock Marina, also on Lake Cumberland, to the Suntex portfolio.
“It is an exciting time for the Suntex brand,” said Chris Petty, head of operations of Suntex Marinas. “By investing in Wolf Creek, as well as State Dock, we are able to enhance the services offered to visitors of Lake Cumberland. Wolf Creek Marina offers 209 slips and features a fully stocked marine store, restaurant, bath houses, fuel pumps, pump-out facilities, water taxis and boat rental operation.
Suntex adds the Wolf Creek property to its current portfolio of 32 Marinas in Kentucky, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Virginia, Tennessee, Oklahoma and St. Maarten.
