Freedom Boat Club adds Scout Boats to its national boat roster

Freedom Boat Club announced the addition of Scout Boats to its approved and preferred roster of boat brands. Scout joins a growing list of brands featured in Freedom Boat Club’s fleet of 1200+ boats.

“We are very enthusiastic about bringing Scout aboard and know it will be well received by both our franchisees and our members,” said Freedom Boat Club President and CEO John Giglio. “Scout is well respected in its niche and we’re confident it will be in great demand once our members hear the exciting news!”

Scout will initially be launched at the Southwest Florida corporate club locations from Bradenton to Marco Island, Fla., and will include four models including the 177 Sport, 195 Sportfish, 210 Dorado and 225XSF.

Scout will showcase select models during Freedom Boat Club’s national franchise conference in November, where franchise owners and operators throughout North America will have the opportunity to test the product and order inventory.

“We’re very excited about partnering with Freedom Boat Club. Their vision to continuously improve their fleet and provide their members with a higher end boating experience fits perfectly with our brand,” said Steve Potts, Scout Boats CEO. “Our boats are built tough and are suitable for a fishing trip with just the guys, however also offer the aesthetics and appointments that will please the wife and kids for a day out with the family.

“We’re looking forward to the added exposure Freedom Boat Club will bring to the Scout name and are excited about working with them in the future,” he added.

Giglio expects the first Scouts will be officially introduced to the corporate fleet in early September.
