Premier Marine plans to relocate facility to North Branch

Premier Marine, Inc. announced to its dealer network that the company has set in motion a plan to relocate the Premier Marine production facility.

Premier plans to construct a new 160,000 square foot manufacturing facility in North Branch, Minn.  North Branch is located approximately 15 minutes north on Interstate 35 of the current production facility in Wyoming, Minn. The new location is 20-acre parcel located just off the Interstate. The new facility will house both the office staff, warehouse and production facilities under one roof.

“I am pleased to announced that after a thorough review of several cities in the surrounding areas, Premier’s upper management team has formally notified the City of North Branch that we have agreed to the terms outlined in their proposal presented to our team,” said Lori Melbostad, president of Premier Marine. “We are looking forward to the next steps on this project and working together with the City of North Branch to accomplish our goals.

“Premier Marine’s headquarters has been based in Wyoming, Minn., since it was founded in 1992, which made the decision something we did not take lightly. We are looking forward to the expansion plans and the efficiency gains the new factory will provide us,” she added.

Additional details will be shared at the 2017 dealer meeting. Premier is hopeful for a completion and move-in sometime in 2018.
