Torqeedo wins eco-friendly product award at China International Boat Show
Torqeedo was awarded the Most Eco-Friendly Marine Business of 2016 at the 21st China International Boat Show in Shanghai. The award was presented by the China Boat Industry & Trade Association.
The jury said of Torqeedo, it is “THE name in electric outboards.”
Increasing its sales and service network, the German company also recently added two regional distributors: Melbourne-based Power Equipment Pty Ltd for Australia and New Zealand; and Dubai-based Exalto Emirates LLC for the Middle East.
In its 12-year history, Torqeedo has won numerous international awards. Beginning with its first in 2006 from the German magazine Yacht, the company has garnered over 20 major honors, including two NMMA Innovation Awards, including the Environmental Award, two Top Product selections, METS DAME Jury and Overall Winner Awards, three SAIL Pittman Innovation Awards and a Best of Boats Award.
