Taco Marine to showcase 2016 sportfishing and boating products at ICAST

Taco Marine will feature new for 2016 sportfishing and boating products in the Marine Accessories Pavilion booth 3848 at ICAST on July 13-15 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

Visitors to the Taco Marine booth at ICAST will also have the opportunity to enter a drawing to win a Stainless Steel Type 304 Come-On-Board Handle or a Brushed Aluminum Multi-Purpose 15 Degree Portable Cleat.

Carbon Fiber Outrigger Poles

Taco Marine’s Carbon Fiber Outrigger Poles were the winner of the Product Innovation Award in the Fishing Equipment, Gear & Tackle category at the 2016 Progressive Miami International Boat Show. The company says they are stronger and lighter than any aluminum poles on the market.

The Carbon Fiber design was built to allow for today’s modern fishing techniques of pulling small dredges of ballyhoo, mullet or squids through the water at higher speeds that would be difficult to achieve with aluminum poles. A patent-pending, swivel roller mechanism allows for live baits or artificial lures to have a more natural swimming action, which will result in hooking up more fish. The Tele-Outrigger version (shown in the products image above) telescopes to less than 8 feet for bridge clearance, trailering and storage and is sold in pairs, with two models (16 feet with double line rollers and 20 feet with triple line rollers) available for boats up to 50 feet. Rigging kits to accommodate the carbon fiber poles will also be on display in the booth.

Trident Rod Holder Cluster

Available in straight-mounted and offset-mounted models, the Trident Rod Holder Cluster features a tool tray to hold fishing tackle gear and a cup holder for beverages. The strong, durable high polished aluminum three-rod holder cluster fits all standard gunnel mount rod holders and is designed to maximize rod placement and usage on board. The company says it is great for kite fishing or as a three rod holder-in-one.

Olympic Rod Holder Cluster

The high polished, aluminum Olympic five-rod holder cluster is also designed to maximize rod placement and usage on a boat and fits all standard rod holders on a tower. It has many uses on a boat, from storing rods out of the way in a cockpit to placing on the gunnel for convenient rigging or wash down station.

Come-On-Board Handle

Available in two versions fixed mount and rod holder mount, the Come-On-Board Handle features a large grabbing surface and is designed for boats where constant boarding is necessary. A unique finger molded handle pipe design assures a more secure and comfortable grip. The two-piece handle stores easily in a mesh bag – which is included – that won’t scratch boat surfaces. The fixed mount version is ideal for boats with no rod holders. Install easily on the gunnel or boarding platform and is secure with a steel backing plate for additional strength. Additional receivers for the fixed mount model are available for multiple boarding positions on the boat.

Multi-Purpose Cleat

This portable, anodized aluminum multi-purpose cleat allows for an instant cleat in the location of a rod holder. The company says this is ideal for temporary docking or hanging a boat fender over the gunnel. It can also be used to hang a hose while washing the boat or to add a boat fender.

Shore Power Cable Holder

The Shore Power Cable Holder is the ideal way for boats to be hooked up to a power source at the dock. The large ring is designed to accommodate 30, 50 and 100 amp shore power cables and has an adjustable height ring to compensate for low or high tide settings. The holder stores easily in a mesh bag (included) for easy drying if stored wet and to avoid scratching deck or storage surfaces.
