Regulator Marine receives ISO 9001 certification renewal

Regulator Marine, manufacturers of offshore sportfishing boats, announced the company’s recertification by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). First certified in 2013, Regulator has remained one of the few boat manufacturers to receive the Manufacturing & Service Industry ISO certification: ISO 9001.

“The benefits of ISO certification run deep,” said Regulator Marine President Joan Maxwell. “For our customers, it means that our processes are tested, proven, and can be replicated to produce the quality Regulator is known for every time.”

Beyond ensuring quality across Regulator’s full line of boats, ISO certification confirms that the company is providing the best working conditions for employees during the factory build process. ISO’s established standardization guide enables Regulator to ensure repeatability, which reduces variability, and in turn increases quality. Continuous improvement and “quality before delivery” are at the heart of Regulator’s manufacturing process and way of doing business.

  1. I had no idea that ISO certification made such a big difference. It’s good to know that there’s a lot of really good things that are getting verified at a business like this though. Thanks for taking the time to let everyone know what this means!
