New membership alliance between AMI and MMA

The Association of Marina Industries (AMI) and the Midwest Marina Association (MMA) have entered into a membership alliance that will welcome all MMA members as full members of AMI. This means MMA members will now have access to all AMI services, products and benefits in addition to those they already receive from MMA.

“AMI has continuously had a healthy active relationship with its Midwest membership and is excited to extend its reach to an even larger Midwest marina audience,” said Brad Gross, AMI chairman.

“The Midwest Marina Association is very unique. Our founding members decided at the inception of the organization to limit our membership to just marina operators. Although several of our MMA members have been long-time members of AMI, this new affiliation gives all our members the opportunity to take advantage of everything AMI has to offer and at a reasonable cost. We are very excited about this new affiliation with AMI,” said Rick Chapman, president of the Midwest Marina Association.

This alliance will help both associations to extend their voices and reach. Through the new relationship with MMA, AMI will also increase the number of its affiliate relationships with State Marine Trade Groups, which already includes the Tennessee Marina Association, Marina Association of Texas, Virginia Marine Trades Association and Boating British Columbia. Members of the new alliance will benefit from access to national networking, learning events, discounts on training, scholarship funding for education and access to the latest industry news.
