MyTaskit to host webinar on top tips for customer loyalty

MyTaskit, a software platform for connecting service professionals to their technicians and customers, announced that nationally known marine expert Steve D’Antonio will lead its webinar, “Top Tips for Increasing Customer Service & Loyalty” on Wednesday, June 1 at 1 p.m. EDT/ 10 a.m. PDT. The webinar is part of the MyTaskit Knowledge-Sharing Webinar Series, and free to those who register. Interested parties can sign up on MyTaskit’s webinar registration site.

Moderated by MyTaskit Founder & CEO Kevin Hutchinson, the webinar will not only teach marine business professionals about customer service and loyalty best practices, it will also cover how participants can improve communications and collaboration in today’s mobile world, and tips to train and incentivize staff to improve attention to detail.

“Participants will also learn what’s needed to ensure technical proficiency, and how to educate your customers and deliver on their needs, while avoiding surprises and common customer-care pitfalls,” says D’Antonio. D’Antonio will answer questions such as: “How do you make certain your customers aren’t surprised with unforeseen costs, thereby avoiding disputes and dissatisfaction?”  Or, “How do you communicate in a manner that instills confidence in your customers, providing them with the information they need, while economizing on the volume of communication you must provide?” The live session includes a Q and A session.

Steve D’Antonio is an author and owner of SDM Consulting Inc. and the ‘Marine Systems Excellence’ eZine, and has nearly three decades of experience as a marine mechanic, electrician, consultant and boatyard manager. Since 2007, D’Antonio has run SDM Consulting, advising boat buyers, owners and industry professionals. Doing inspections for new and used boat buyers is one of the many services he offers.

“We are pleased to bring Steve’s expertise to MyTaskit’s customers,” said Hutchinson. “He knows this industry inside out.”

The “Knowledge-Sharing Webinar Series” is part of MyTaskit’s ongoing thought leadership effort. In February it unveiled “MyTaskit Ebook: 5 Things to Improve Marine Services Profits Right Now.” Written by marine author and consultant Phil Friedman, “5 Things to Improve Marine Services Profits Right Now” takes readers through a step-by-step process for boatyard or marine business executives to boost gross profit without incurring additional overhead expenses. Another way to capturing more profit is to reduce non-billable service hours, and Friedman suggests MyTaskit Pro can play an integral role in doing that.
