Nautique hosts Manufacturers Association Of Central Florida

On Wednesday, Nautique hosted 50 members of the Manufacturers Association of Central Florida (MACF) to experience the recently expanded, state-of-the-art Nautique manufacturing facility and innovative processes.

Correct Craft CEO Bill Yeargin kicked off the meeting by sharing the story of Correct Craft’s exciting growth and acquisitions. After the Correct Craft update Yeargin briefed the MACF members on his work with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Manufacturing Council. The council is comprised of about 25 business leaders who advise U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker, and Yeargin serves as co-chair of the Council’s Trade and Tax Committee.

The MACF regularly visits the factories of its members throughout the year to promote local manufacturing.

Nautique, a recent “Florida Manufacturer of the Year” builds towboats at the recently expanded 270,000 sq. ft. facility in Orlando. Members of the MACF were given an in-depth tour of Nautique’s facility and operations including exclusive access to Nautique’s methods from product design and development to production.

“It is an honor to host the MACF members at our facility and share some insight to our recipe for creating the world’s best boats,” said Nautique President Greg Meloon. “We are proud of our team and innovative Nautique boats celebrated worldwide and manufactured here in the U.S.A.”
