IMBC to return to Fort Lauderdale in 2017

The International Marina & Boatyard Conference will return to the Broward County Convention Center in Ft. Lauderdale for the second year in a row in 2017, show organizers announced Thursday.

IMBC 2017 will be January 25 – 27, 2017, and will once again co-locate with the Refit International Exhibition & Conference.

The IMBC 2017 offerings will include receptions for both exhibitors and attendees, seminars, workshops, keynote speakers, Best Profit Idea Awards and more, said the Association of Marina Industries, which produces the show.

“The 2016 IMBC content was spot on with emerging trends in the marina and boatyard industry,” said AMI Chair Brad Gross, CMM “Our speakers continue to be very informative with step-by-step information that our attendees can apply to their business upon their return. I am also pleased to announce that in 2016, AMI’s [Certified Marina Manager] and [Certified Marina Operator] program continues to grow with the designation of six new members.”

For exhibitors, the 2017 IMBC Floor Plan is now available. To view the finalized floor plan and available floor space, visit https://marinaassociation.org/imbc/exhibitors/floor-plan.

“The buzz on the exhibit floor was unlike any other in the history of IMBC,” Gross said. “Between the growing attendance from IMBC’s attendees and the additional foot traffic from the Refit International Exhibition and Conference, the exhibit floor was busier than ever.”

The Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Marina will once again offer discounts on blocks of rooms. Booking will be available starting in the summer of 2016.
