BRP announces Evinrude spring sales program

BRP has announced the Evinrude E-TEC Spring Sales Event, running through June 25.

Consumers who purchase and take delivery of eligible Evinrude E-TEC engines from a participating Evinrude dealer will qualify for the following program options:

Package Offer:

All new package buyers will receive:

  • 5-year B.E.S.T. warranty on 3 HP to 15 HP Evinrude portable engines.
  • 6-year B.E.S.T. warranty on new Evinrude E-TEC and E-TEC G2 engines 15 H.O. and above.

Repower Offer:

All new repower buyers will receive:

  • 5-year B.E.S.T warranty on 3 HP to 15 HP Evinrude portable engines.
  • 6-year B.E.S.T. warranty on new Evinrude E-TEC and E-TEC G2 engines 15 H.O. and above, OR
  • Promotional retail financing (as low as 4.9%) available on new and unused Evinrude E-TEC engines.

In addition, all repower buyers of engines 40 HP and above will receive free rigging (System Check only, no prop included) on Evinrude E-TEC G1, Free Analog or Digital Rigging or Upgraded Digital Rigging on Evinrude E-TEC G2 models.

  1. WOW – what an idea!! Who ever thought of giving away extra warranty? Oh, wait, everyone has. I will never understand why the engine manufacturers continue to give away something the dealer can sell and make money on. Why not a dealer credit on the sale they can use how they want to promote the local business? This is so common place now that the general buyer has come to expect 5 or 6 years of warranty. Take a look at the RV industry sometime. They use shorter warranties and allow the dealer to sell and profit from the extended sale. Profitable dealers are a good thing. Fighting against the manufacturers for needed profit seems odd. (but common).
