Forespar launches 50th anniversary celebration
Forespar Products Corp. announced it has reached its 50th Anniversary milestone and are prepared to launch a yearlong celebration.
Throughout 2016, Forespar will invite customers and partners along for the celebratory ride as the company commemorates the milestone with special events including parties, contests, awards, flashbacks, news updates, dealer spotlights and more.
“This fantastic journey would not have been possible without the support of our many industry friends and loyal customers. We look forward to a bright future and a long, rewarding relationship with each of one of you in the coming years,” said Scott Foresman, Forespar president & COO.
The celebration will kick off with a cocktail party, rum tasting and champagne toast in the booth #K5 in the Craneway Pavilion at Strictly Sail Richmond this Friday, April 8, from 6-8 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
In April 1966, Robert Foresman founded Forespar Products Corporation by unveiling the company’s first telescoping whisker pole, designed on the family dining room table and manufactured in the family garage. Forespar Products Corp. gained experience making boating and commercial lightweight marine products that performed well and resisted corrosion.
Forspar produces products incorporating lightweight, space-age materials, including the Marelon plumbing system, a new line of “93” Series integrated thru-the-hull valves, an “Ultra” Series spinnaker and whisker pole end fitting, a line of carbon fiber structures for tiller extensions, spinnaker poles, whisker poles, wing spars, and radar spars, and the PerformanceCare+ lineup of maintenance care products. Foresman and a second-generation group of professionals lead the company today.
