IBEX 2016 expo hall sells out

The expo hall for this year’s International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX), is sold out, show organizers announced Wednesday.

IBEX 2016 is October 4-6 at the Tampa Convention Center.

The event will host over 550 exhibiting companies, of which 100 are new for 2016, on two show floors that will be 106,300 square feet of exhibit space, plus an additional 35+ slips on 1,000 feet of dock, and 6,000 square feet of waterfront outdoor exhibit space. The event will also offer on-water and waterfront demonstrations, and several specialty pavilions.

“We are thrilled that we have had such an overwhelming response from companies to participate. Marine industry manufacturers know that IBEX is the premier show to showcase and launch new products and technology,” said Anne Dunbar, IBEX show director.  “With the addition and expansion of the docks, current exhibitors have an incredible opportunity to exhibit technology live and on-the-water.”

The IBEX Show will occupy two floors with exhibit space.  The new first floor exhibit hall will open at 9 a.m., an hour earlier than the third floor exhibit hall, and will be comprised of a majority of new companies to IBEX and the marine industry, and also home to the IBEX Café.
