Suntex Marinas acquires State Dock Marina
DALLAS, Texas – Suntex Marinas, an owner and operator of marina properties, announced today the acquisition of State Dock Marina on Lake Cumberland in Kentucky. State Dock Marina is located in the Lake Cumberland State Resort Park.
State Dock has garnered a reputation under the leadership of Bill Jasper and Suntex will continue to invest in the physical assets of the facility, as well as new boats, amenities and events to expand and enhance the overall customer experience.
“This has been an incredible period of explosive growth for the Suntex portfolio,” said Chris Petty, principal of Suntex Marinas. “State Dock adds another location for our members to visit and experience.”
Chosen to lead as general manager, Bryan Horne most recently served as general manager of Pier 121 Marina in Lewisville, Texas, one of the largest inland marinas in the United States with over 2,000 slips. Horne brings over 25 years of customer service and retail experience that will be beneficial in continuing State Dock.
