Boatsetter and Jason Taylor partner with Make-A-Wish

MIAMI – The Boatsetter team recently joined former Miami Dolphin Jason Taylor and the Make-A-Wish Southern Florida to take an excited young man with a serious illness out for a ride on Taylor’s personal boat.

Taylor captained his boat for hours with his friend Peyton. The small group, which included Taylor, Peyton and his mother, and Boatsetter CEO Jaclyn Baumgarten, set out on a boat cruise and day of fun on the South Florida waters. Peyton took the helm of Taylor’s boat while on the trip. He is in the process of getting his “6-pack” Captain License and knew his way around the captain’s spot.

Jason Taylor has made an indelible mark both on and off the football field. As a likely candidate for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, a top 50 Miami Dolphins player and former ESPN and NBC Sports commentator, Taylor has also dedicated much of his personal time to improving the lives of Florida’s youth through the Jason Taylor Foundation. He adjusted his 2015 holiday plans to be available during a boating meet up with another child suffering from cancer.Boatsetter Make A Wish 2

Earlier this year, Taylor got involved as an investor, consultant and “brand fan” with Boatsetter. He chose the local tech startup, for one main reason: he loved that Boatsetter’s mission is to make boating accessible to everyone and anyone – even if they don’t own a boat or have boating experience.

“I was thrilled that Boatsetter was there to facilitate the Make-A-Wish event and be a part of a magical day out on the ocean with one of the good guys, Jason Taylor, who shares in our company’s commitment to giving back and sharing the love of boating with everyone,” said Baumgarten.
