BRP marine propulsion systems division appoints new vice president of sales

STURTEVANT, Wis.– BRP announced today that its Marine Propulsion System (MPS) division has promoted Krista Sparkes to Vice President, Sales North America, MPS.

In her new role, Sparkes will assume leadership for all North American sales including dealer and boat manufacturer sales for outboard propulsion and jet propulsion systems; sales administration; network development; and parts, accessories & clothing.

“As a long-time member of the BRP team, I look forward to this opportunity and increased scope of responsibility,” said Sparkes. “As a growing player in the marine industry, we are focused on strengthening our core network while also establishing new business partnerships. Our BRP sales team is already first class and we are taking this one step further by investing in several new resources to maximize market coverage and further accelerate growth. It is an honor to contribute to these efforts.”

Joining BRP in 2003, Sparkes has held positions of progressive responsibility. She most recently served as regional sales director for Central and Western North America before accepting to lead the North American MPS sales team in an interim fashion in October of 2015.
