Russo Marine acquires South Shore property
Top 100 dealer Russo Marine announced Friday it has purchased a new location to serve Boston’s South Shore.
The three-acre site in Hingham, Mass., at the Hingham Shipyard, is currently the home of Eastern Yacht Sales, a long-time sailboat dealer-broker who will be relocating later this year. Russo will have a sales presence at the location this spring and is now working on future development plans for the site. It will be the fourth location for the New England dealer.
“After a successful 2015 opening of our new dealership facility on the North Shore in Danvers, Mass., we began the search for a complimentary opportunity on the South Shore”, said Larry Russo, Sr., president and CEO of Russo Marine. “The Boston market has three, distinct boating regions: the North Shore, Boston Harbor and the South Shore. Since we have established facilities on the North Shore and Boston Harbor, it made sense for a South Shore location to better serve the entire market.”
