MasterCraft has extended its entry-level NXT line with the new NXT20 Global Edition, the company’s first outboard towboat in over 20 years.
“MasterCraft continues to expand its product line to meet the consumer’s demand for quality construction and reliable performance across all boating categories,” said Terry McNew, president and CEO of MasterCraft. “The introduction of the NXT20 Global Edition opens up MasterCraft ownership to boaters in coastal and overseas markets where shallow waters and harsh salt water conditions require an outboard configuration.”
The NXT20 Global Edition features MasterCraft’s signature pickle-fork bow and exterior capped off with a modified coastal deck. It comes standard with a 175 horsepower Mercury Verado outboard engine with the option to upgrade to a 225 horsepower model, with available built-in ballast tanks and a custom-built centralized tower.
The interior includes puncture-resistant vinyl seats, premium billet aluminum finishes and cabin carpeting. The outboard engine allows for expanded aft seating accommodating up to twelve people while shock-assisted storage compartments are integrated throughout the entire boat.
The NXT20 Global Edition comes standard with a five-year, bow-to-stern warranty and is manufactured in the company’s U.S-based manufacturing facility in Vonore, Tenn.
Seems like they ought bring back the CTX with an outboard.
Jeff, MasterCraft had a successful run with the "CSX" series - not CTX?
Really glad to see this. Entry level options are key to recruiting new boaters!!
