Misty Harbor sales up 32 percent year-over-year

FORT DODGE, IA – Misty Harbor reported fall sales are up 32 percent over the previous year. The Iowa-based pontoon manufacturer has expanded into new markets while maintaining its dealer network.

“We’ve redeveloped a large swath of our available boat models, designed new decks per our dealer network and are energized by dealers who continue to invest their business success with our brand,” noted Jeff Martin, director of sales & marketing at Misty Harbor. “Now we have a broadened focus to strategically work within new markets to recruit and build a thriving dealer network that is taking our company to the next level.”

Misty Harbor has focused on growing its dealer network in Northern territories. In the past two years is has grown its market share in Florida, which focusing continued growth in the Southeast and southern Midwest.

Kevcon, Misty Harbor’s parent company, has completed acquisition and expansion into additional manufacturing space just three miles from their existing plant. Misty Harbor has just released their newly revised website that includes a Build-a-Boat feature for customers to design their own pontoons.

“It is our belief that as long as the economy continues to hold its current pace or grows, and the market continues to see increased pontoon buyers, then we will continue to set new records for our company,” said Martin.
